Welcome back to a slightly different start of the season training!
Further to advice and guidance received from GRFU and RFU representatives at a meeting at the club on Tuesday 25th August, we have split initial back-to-rugby training sessions commencing on Sunday 6th September for the first few weeks as follows:
9:00 – 10:00am
Tiger cubs, U6’s and U7’s on the AGP
U8’s on the Middle Football Pitch
10.30 – 11.30am
U9’s& U10’s on AGP.
U14s on the Middle Rugby Pitch
Girls on the Middle Football Pitch
12:00 – 1.30pm
U11s on AGP
U13s on the Middle Rugby Pitch
U13s if the Sunday slot is too late.
7.15 – 8.15pm
U15s and U16s on the AGP
Touch and 18s on the Middle Pitches.
6:00 – 7:00pm
U12’s and U17’s on the AGP.
We appreciate that this setup is less than ideal for some but hope you will bear with us as we try and work to the guidance. We have been told that new and updated guidance will be forthcoming from the RFU in early September so will review again once received and let you know.
An hour has been allocated for training and a bit of time allowed for you to depart from the club before the next batch arrives. These are different times to a normal rugby training day, it may not be completely convenient, but we are trying to fit everyone in and have options during the week if that fits better for an age group.
Please respect social distancing and the routes around the clubhouse. Maps and signage will be provided and we hope it is all self-explanatory.
Please complete the track and trace book in the club, be patient and courteous to staff and other groups, it is different but it will work if we all help and understand.
Please place all rubbish in the bins provided, enjoy your return to rugby and we will endeavour to fine-tune any issues as the weeks go on
We will be around on Sunday to help if needed. The most important thing is the children enjoy their return to the club, feel safe and have fun. Sessions are a bit shorter than normal to make sure everyone gets a decent chance. Please arrive and depart promptly to avoid congestion
Yours in Rugby
