November 2020 Lockdown Update

4th November 2020

Dear all

Apologies for another update so quickly after the previous one! Unfortunately, in these difficult times the Government have announced a further lockdown.

This means the club will be closed from the completion of training on Wednesday 4th November until reopening on Wednesday 2nd December.

Sadly, this also means that our Remembrance Sunday event will need to be cancelled.

All being well we will be open for training again from the 2nd December and will be encouraging all groups to get out and make use of our facilities and the open air. Between the 2nd – 6th December, we have use of the grass pitches during the daylight and use of the AGP in the evening.

Please liaise with your groups and ensure you get as much time allocated as is available. You will all need to be flexible on timings, so everyone has a fair chance to practise.

December’s pitch allocation for Sundays will remain as the recently issued November Update

As a ‘welcome back’ we will be providing food for players after their first training sessions. We are also planning to provide a Christmas meal and with a day/evening social for everyone during December. Dates and times are to be agreed in the next week or so. This is part of your membership fees and to say thank you for your patience in these challenging times.

All the above is subject to formal easing of restrictions and our ability to return to normal as soon as we can.

Please all stay safe, look out for each other, and remember the Club is always here for you.

Yours in Rugby,

Steve Ratcliffe, Club Chairman
