GIRLS RUGBY CAMP
This October, The Girls Rugby Club are offering Girls Rugby Camp: an unmissable day full of rugby, fun and teaching from exceptional coaches!
About the Club
The Girls Rugby Club aims to empower and inspire girls to be the best they can be in rugby and beyond, with holistic coaching from experts in the field, including current and former England Internationals who are dedicated to developing young female rugby talent.
The club understands that rugby is about more than just sport; it’s about beating goals, making memories and discovering who we are. They also understand that as a sport, rugby isn’t always welcoming for girls, so are dedicated to crafting an environment where girls can feel comfortable and confident with expressing themselves through sport. They allow girls to discover both their strengths and weaknesses and encourage them to work at both of these to inspire them to develop rugby further.
About the Camp
The Girls Rugby Camp will provide girls aged U13, U15 and U18 with the opportunity to play and learn with other like-minded and determined young rugby females whilst receiving coaching from some of the best the country has to offer.
The camp will include On Pitch sessions where the girls will receive game-based coaching and get to develop their core rugby skills, speedwork and understanding of the game. Additionally, they’ll take part in exercises to improve their speedwork, agility and core stability- all tailored to making them the best rugby players they can be!
During indoor personal development activities, the girls may also learn about nutrition, injury, recovery and training and work on their confidence and self-esteem, as well as leadership and teamwork. Plus, activities may also involve learning skills for how to communicate, set goals and understand the game, as well as discovering steps to becoming an England player!
This is a day sure to set our young female players in good stead for becoming the best versions of themselves, both on and off the pitch!
