The Men’s Team

Jack is responsible for the overall Performance of the Mens section this year as well as looking after the future of Cheltenham Tigers. His Job spec will range from helping the Colts boys settle into our senior section to enabling all of his coaches have the right things in place so they are able to implement the game plan required to have another successful season.

Tom will continue to look after the brand of rugby that we aim to play here at Cheltenham Tigers. He will also continue to be the link between both senior sections making sure that we can join resources to maximise coaches, facilities and equipment to name a few.

With Player Happiness and welfare at the top of our priorities, Nicks job is becoming one of the most important in our coaching team. Although you will rarely see Nick on field coaching, he sits in on all meetings and oversees all training sessions. This allows Nick to streamline our section and continuously make sure we are heading in the right direction. With Nick sitting in on coaching, medical, selection, committee and many more he is the guy that you speak to for any concerns or praises that you have.

Craig will once again lead our Defence for this session. He will also play a big role in looking after all aspects of forward play this year. With new people adding new ideas to our forwards this season, Craig will be a great person to get in touch with if you’re unsure of any of forward aspects of play and offer any clarity that is needed.

Paul will continue to look after our back line after coming in later on in the season. With such a heavy focus on forward set piece coming up this year, Paul and his back line will focus hard on our strike rate and what we consider good outcomes from various set peice positions.

Henry’s role this year is to sit across both sections and focus heavily on our Scrum. Expect to see Henry involved in Units and organised Scrum posture sessions as well as pre and post session Hooker throwing.

Cams role is identical to Henry’s only his target will be making our lineout and Maul as deadly as what Gloucester have made theirs this year.

Just like the other coaches Taran will work with all players during training sessions, however Taran has committed his weekends to really pushing our United team to becoming a serious threat in the league!
