Under 16s

Welcome to the Cheltenham Tigers U16s. We are a competitive, inclusive, and community-focused squad dedicated to developing young athletes through a high standard of rugby and a positive team culture.

We currently compete in the First Division of the Gloucestershire U16 League. Our squad is comprised of talented players from a wide range of schools across the local area, fostering a diverse and cohesive team environment.

We take pride in our player development, evidenced by our strong representation at the Gloucester DPP (Developing Player Programme). Whether you are looking to take your game to the professional pathway or simply want to play high-level regional rugby, our coaching staff is equipped to help you reach your goals.

The Tigers are known for an open, attacking rugby style. We encourage our players to play with flair, making quick decisions and keeping the ball moving. Our training sessions are designed to build the technical skills and tactical awareness required to execute this exciting brand of rugby.

• Thursday Evenings: 6:00 PM (Team Training)
• Sunday Mornings: Training or Matches
• Special Sessions: Every third Thursday, we hold an additional training session featuring players from Gloucester RFC, facilitated through our club association.

Our team is supported by an experienced group of coaches and a dedicated management and medical team to ensure player safety and growth.
